Principal's Message
Dear Lemonwood Families,
Welcome to Lemonwood School. It is a privilege to serve as your principal, and this welcome carries special meaning for me. I spent four years teaching here at Lemonwood, and returning to lead this community feels like coming home.
Lemonwood is a place of resilience, pride, and possibility. Our students are capable of extraordinary things, and our job as adults is to believe in them fully, hold them to high expectations, and surround them with the care they need to reach those expectations. Every child who walks through our doors deserves to feel known, valued, and safe, and to have adults in their corner who will advocate for them.
I believe deeply that strong schools are built on strong relationships. When students feel they belong, when families are welcomed as true partners, and when staff feel supported, learning follows. That is the school we are building together at Lemonwood, one where high expectations and genuine care go hand in hand.
I am proud to call this community my own, because I believe in Oxnard and in the promise of every student we serve. I am honored to be part of your child's education, and I look forward to getting to know your family.

Bienvenidos a la Escuela Lemonwood. Es un privilegio servir como su director, y esta bienvenida tiene un significado muy especial para mí. Pasé cuatro años enseñando aquí en Lemonwood, y regresar para liderar esta comunidad se siente como volver a casa.
Lemonwood es un lugar de resiliencia, orgullo y posibilidades. Nuestros estudiantes son capaces de lograr cosas extraordinarias, y nuestro deber como adultos es creer plenamente en ellos, mantener altas expectativas y rodearlos del cariño que necesitan para alcanzarlas. Cada niño y niña que cruza nuestras puertas merece sentirse conocido, valorado y seguro, y contar con adultos que aboguen por él o ella.
Creo profundamente que las escuelas fuertes se construyen sobre relaciones fuertes. Cuando los estudiantes sienten que pertenecen, cuando las familias son recibidas como verdaderas colaboradoras, y cuando el personal se siente apoyado, el aprendizaje florece. Esa es la escuela que estamos construyendo juntos en Lemonwood, una donde las altas expectativas y el cariño genuino van de la mano.
Me enorgullece llamar mía a esta comunidad, porque creo en Oxnard y en la promesa de cada estudiante al que servimos. Es un honor ser parte de la educación de su hijo/a, y espero con entusiasmo conocer a su familia.
Mi puerta siempre está abierta. Los invito a comunicarse conmigo, visitarnos, o acompañarnos en el Café con el Director, el Consejo Escolar (SSC) o el Comité Asesor de Estudiantes de Inglés (ELAC). Su voz importa aquí, y somos más fuertes cuando trabajamos juntos.
